At Dayspring Center for Christian Counseling Services our purpose is to glorify God by providing a Christian alternative for those who are seeking professional counseling services. It is becoming more and more apparent that specific needs of individuals and families are not being met by existing resources inside and outside our churches. Therefore, we seek to network with all churches to meet those needs that cannot be met through existing ministries within individual congregations.
We realize that the responsibilities in the ministry of the Word, the shepherding of the congregation, and the general operation of the local congregation limits the pastor's availability to meet the complex mental, emotional and behavioral needs of their members. The time, energy and training required for in-depth counseling can overwhelm the average pastor who is already extended with other duties. We hope to assist pastors in their ministry by alleviating this stressful and time consuming responsibility.
Dayspring is committed to serving the Christian Community as well as non-Christian people who are suffering the pain of brokenness within the human condition. We view counseling as a ministry of compassionate assistance to the hurting soul. Through the use of professional counseling under girded by a commitment to Biblical principles, we commit to provide every client with assistance in personal, emotional, spiritual, and relational growth.
